Lithium-ion Battery Maintenance Instructions

Time:2018-04-12   Vist:1342

When charging, it shall not be higher than the maximum charging voltage and when discharging, it shall not be lower than the minimum working voltage.

Lithium-ion batteries must be kept above the minimum operating voltage at any time. Low voltage overdischarge or self-discharge reaction will lead to decomposition and destruction of lithium ion active substances, which may not be reductive.

Overcharge of any kind of lithium-ion battery will cause serious damage to the battery performance, or even explosion. In the charging process of lithium ion battery, it is necessary to avoid overcharging the battery.

Do not often deep discharge, deep charge. However, after about 30 charging cycles, the power detection chip automatically performs a deep discharge and a deep charge to accurately assess the battery's condition.

Avoid high temperature, light will shorten the life, serious can cause explosion. Store in refrigerator if possible. If your laptop is running on alternating current, remove the lithium-ion battery strip to protect it from heat generation.

Avoid freezing, but the freezing point of electrolyte solution of most lithium ion batteries is at -40℃, which is not easy to freeze.

If not used for a long time, please store at 40% ~ 60% of the charging capacity. When the electric quantity is too low, it may be caused by self-discharge.
